Indoor shooting venues

The indoor shooting target fee this year has increased, due to an increase of hall hire charges at Redruth St. John Ambulance Hall.  This will now be £1 for juniors and £2 for seniors

Starting Wednesday 5th October at Redruth St. John Ambulance Hall

Due to the limited space, it is essential that you arrive on time to set up your equipment and be ready to commence shooting at the stated times.

·      Juniors be ready to start shooting at 5.30

·      Seniors be ready to start shooting at 7 pm

In order that our junior archers can have sufficient shooting time to take part in the Postal League, on the first Wednesday in each month (2nd November, 7th December, 4th January, 1st February and 1st March) Senior Archers should arrive at 7 pm to commence shooting at 7.20 pm.

Starting Saturday 8th October at Penryn Sports College. Start time for both seniors & juniors 1 pm to 4 pm. You may start shooting whenever, but be prepared to stop and be packed up leaving by 4 pm

New Level 1 Coaches

On the weekend of the 3/4th September the first new Level 1 coaching exam took place in DCAS. Successful club candidates were Ann Callaway, Jimmy Sandoe, David Smith and Philip Spavins.

CLUB COLOURS

We have now registered our club colours with GNAS and these may be worn to tournaments from 1st October. Polo Shirts and Sweatshirts are available to buy from Barbara Bunyon.

AGM: 2nd November 2005

This will take place as usual at the St. John Ambulance Hall. All Club Committee positions become vacant each year. If you are interested in taking up one of the positions you will get a chance to be proposed or propose someone else when the notices go out shortly. The Club Secretary will not be standing for re-election again this year – so perhaps you would like to have a go! Anyone taking up any of the Committee positions, I am sure, will get support from previous position holders.

Handicap & Classifications

Don’t forget to put completed scores sheets for any recognized and completed round in the black box in the garage for Sally – also please include any results lists if you go away to tournaments.
