Target Days

Target Days are when Club members can shoot rounds which will count towards lowering their handicap and giving them a classification. This could be any day of the week, so long as another archer undertakes your scoring. Club members can also shoot at any time for practice. The Club is open to all visitors who are affiliated members of G.N.A.S./F.I.T.A.; you are welcome to come and shoot with us.

Beginners

Beginners lessons are on Wednesdays from 7:00pm.(See "Beginners" link page for more details)

Tournaments

The Club organises five Open Tournaments outdoors each Summer, as well as the Club Championships when all Club Members shoot.

Two of the Open tournaments, the Double American in May, and the Double FITA in August (in association with the County) are Record Status events and open to all GNAS Archers, therefore help from Club members is needed to see that everything runs smoothly. Everything from setting up the field, to checking scores, provide and run the refreshment stall and raffle needs to be done, either by Club members or members of their families.

In the Spring and just before the County's 'Grand Day' tournament we host:-

We also host a Canadian 1200 shoot (a bit like a metric American, with a twist!) in July each year.

See the "Tournaments" link page for further information.
